Standards hold. Moods don't.
Your feelings will lie to you every single day. The standard is what you do regardless. It's not cold - it's the warmest thing you can build, because it doesn't abandon you when things get hard.
A book about what happens when you stop waiting to feel like it.
Because discipline takes over when motivation fades.
I didn't set out to write this book because I had everything figured out. I wrote it because I didn't, and I kept building anyway.
I'm a father. A husband. A coach. A community builder. And most days, I'm just a man trying to hold a standard that his feelings are actively working against.
That's the work. Not the highlight reel. Not the breakthrough moment. The work is what happens on the days no one is watching - and you do the small thing anyway.
You don't rise to your goals. You fall to your standards. Standards Over Moods
I've spent years interacting with people doing exactly this - holding the line when it would be easier to quit. That's what I speak about. That's what I coach.
Not theory. Just the system that held when I didn't feel like it.
The standard is the standard. You don't get to relitigate it every morning based on how you slept. The mental tax drops to zero.
Business, Health, Relationships and Growth. You stop running your life as one undifferentiated to-do list and start holding the line in the room that actually matters today.
Five minutes a night. Four questions. The adjustment from tonight becomes the standard for tomorrow. Built for your worst self, not your best one.
How to build a life that holds when your mood doesn't.
This isn't a self-help book. There's no morning routine hack. No affirmation you tape to your mirror.
This is about what you do when the feeling is gone and the work is still there. It's about building an identity that doesn't collapse the moment you're tired, broke, hurt, or distracted.
It's about the four rooms you'll walk through in your life - and what it looks like to hold a standard in each one.
Business
The room where your inputs meet your outputs.
Health
The room where your body keeps the score.
Relationships
The room where the cost is the highest.
Growth
The engine room. The one no one checks but you.
Moods change. Standards don't.
That's the difference between being motivated and being committed. Motivation says: "I'll do it only when I feel like it." Committed says: "I do it whether I feel like it or not." Motivation is a mood. And a mood doesn't get to overrule a decision you already made.
Standards Over Moods - Chapter Two, The Mood"The mentorship here isn't just about skill. It's about consistency, character, and calling. The Pack isn't just helping me grow my business, it's helping me grow into someone worthy of the business I want to build."

PDCAtracker is the nightly companion to Standards Over Moods.
Reading the book is one thing. Holding the standard on a Tuesday afternoon when nothing in you wants to is another. PDCAtracker is the repeatable nightly loop that closes the gap.
Each night, four questions - Plan, Do, Check, Adjust. What you said you'd do. What you actually did. What got in the way. What you'll change tomorrow. Five minutes. The next morning, your adjustments come back to you as tomorrow's checklist - delivered by email at whatever time you set. The loop closes itself.

Aristide speaks on discipline, identity, and what it actually takes to follow through. His talks are direct, personal, and built around one question: what does it take to hold the standard when everything says stop?
Standards Over Moods
The flagship talk. What happens when you build a system that doesn't care how you feel - and why that's the most compassionate thing you can do for yourself.
The Four Rooms
Business. Health. Relationships. Growth. You can't stay in one room forever. What standard do you hold when you walk into the one you've been avoiding?
Identity, Not Motivation
Motivation is a guest. Identity is a resident. How to build a version of yourself that doesn't need to feel like it to show up.
Integrity as a Muscle
Every commitment kept to yourself builds trust with yourself. Every one broken erodes it. The relationship with your own word is the foundation of everything else.
Your feelings will lie to you every single day. The standard is what you do regardless. It's not cold - it's the warmest thing you can build, because it doesn't abandon you when things get hard.
You don't get to skip the boring ones. The ones nobody sees. The ones that don't feel like progress. Those are the ones that are building you. Every single one.
You don't have integrity. You practice it. Like any muscle, it atrophies when you stop using it. The small promises you keep to yourself are the reps.
Lasting change doesn't start with behavior - it starts with how you see yourself. When you change the story, the actions follow. Without the story, every habit is a performance waiting to collapse.
A system you can run on bad days is worth more than a plan that requires good ones. Build for your worst self. Your best self won't need the help.
Between who you are and who you intend to be is a gap. That gap is not evidence of failure - it is the field of practice. Show up to it daily. That's the whole system.

At a time when we were losing hope and on the verge of walking away from our business, we found Aristide. He helped Tedd and me realize our journey wasn’t over and played a pivotal role in helping us find our way forward. After a car accident, surgeries, and challenges in our business, my confidence had suffered. I had become my own greatest doubter, questioning whether I could become the leader I envisioned. Through Aristide’s coaching, I began to rediscover my potential, develop consistency through reading, book reports, and PDCAs, bounce back faster, embrace discomfort, and most importantly, believe in myself again.
His influence has reached beyond business. One memorable reminder, “But did you die?”, became a lighthearted yet powerful motivation to stay consistent with my daily exercises and intermittent fasting. He also personally introduced us to leaders who have provided us and our team with the mentorship, support, and environment we needed to thrive. Through his guidance, we found renewed hope and a place we can finally call home.
What makes Aristide remarkable is the community he has built: a safe place to be vulnerable, challenged to grow, and supported along the way. His consistency, integrity, and genuine investment in people have earned our trust and respect. As Brené Brown illustrates through her marble jar analogy, trust is built through small, consistent actions. Aristide has certainly earned his marbles. We are still learning, growing, and becoming, but we are no longer the same people we were when we first met him. And for the difference he has made in our lives, we will always be grateful.

If you want a coach and a mentor that can hold a mirror and allow you to see yourself without being afraid of the reflection, this is exactly what you get in coaching with Aristide Abrahams. Through his mentorship I’ve been able to face and grow through the challenges that have stopped me and recognize and embrace the light, love and leadership that others have vocalized is inside me. The issue wasn’t that I didn’t know what I possessed, it was a fear of sharing these gifts with the world. Aristide doesn’t make you wrong or ridicule you for where you are or what you lack. His methods provide the liberation one needs to become their authentic most powerfully called self. For this gift, I am forever grateful.

Most coaches see who you are today. Coach Aristide sees who you’re capable of becoming. He is a coach who can deeply sense the inherent worth of each person, even when it doesn’t show on the surface, and who has the leadership and experience to bring it out.
On my first ever one-on-one call with Coach, I was asking his perspective on a presentation idea I had. When he asked a single question… I ended up in tears, crying like there was no tomorrow… Most coaches in that moment would have immediately written me off as a mess and a ‘project.’ Lucky for me, Coach A is not like most coaches. Not even close.
He met me where I was, while breathing belief into what I could be. He didn’t pity me, he held me capable. He gave me something to strive for. I’m positive there’s many times when he’s believed in me much more than I have in myself. That belief gave me wings.
With his guidance, I started winning… At 24, I was named the #1 builder in the state across all titles (including brokers) and ages! I started getting recognized, asked to speak at church conferences and business events, and he met me there too. He made sure I was equipped to make the most of every season.
We see ourselves least clearly, so having someone in your corner who has grown through so many life experiences and can now guide you through yours… is priceless.
Above all, Coach A is the person with THE MOST integrity I know. He leads by example and exudes abundance in EVERY area of his life: a healthy marriage, an involved family life, daily work on his health, and never-ending growth. He will never encourage you to sacrifice family or health for business. Rather than forcing you to choose, he teaches you to build the capacity for them all. That’s the fuel for self-mastery, and with self-mastery… there is absolutely nothing we can’t do.

I’ve followed plenty of people over the years, but you never expect real one-on-one coaching from them. Then I heard Aristide speak at a training I was re-engaging with, and I couldn’t unhear it.
He speaks from a different place. He isn’t going through the motions; he genuinely cares about my success and everyone he mentors. That’s what let me take my walls down.
He held the mirror up so I could see who I am and what was blocking me. Then he taught me PDCA: Plan, Do, Check, Adjust. I plan my day the night before, so I never wonder what to do at my desk. I separate my must-dos from everything else, measure my time on them, and adjust. Small habit changes became life changes.
He’s now a friend and confidant, and his wife is just as amazing.

I made it my mission to meet Aristide to learn more about the software that was positively changing businesses. Little did I know, I would eventually ask him to coach me!
Around the time I met Aristide, I was quietly searching for an additional business coach. As a former athlete, I knew the value of having different coaches, who could help refine different aspects of my performance. I wanted someone who could take an objective look at my business and help me identify where I could improve.
Aristide’s coaching is like having Coach Phil Jackson of the Los Angeles Lakers and Elite Performance Trainer Tim Grover combined. He understands the importance of mindset and leadership, but also how to challenge you to improve. He asks questions that make me look at myself differently by holding up a mirror. Sometimes what I see in that mirror is uncomfortable, but those moments have helped me recognize things I have overlooked.
Aristide is my personal “Mr. Miyagi,” and he knows it! One of his sayings is, “Slow down to speed up.” I didn’t understand it at first, but I’ve learned that slowing down gives me the opportunity to examine how I think, respond and lead. That has changed how I lead myself and my team.
I went looking for software and ended up finding the coach I’d been searching for. Now, that’s what I call a pleasant surprise! And I’m grateful for it.
